A Dog's Life in Greenwich Village

On a weekend there’s no reason to leave your dog at home. Greenwich Village has plenty to offer dogs and dog owners alike.

Head over to the new dog run at Washington Square Park and let your dog run free. It’s the perfect place for dogs to stretch their legs, play with their friends, and let down their fur. While your dog's out running sit back on a shaded bench and chat with some of your fellow dog owners.

After the park, if your pup’s been good, stop by Wagwear,Petland Discounts or Doggystyle NYC to buy them something special or swing by The Dog Wash for a nice bath before the day's done.

On days when you must leave the dog at home, fear not, Grey Dog Café may not be for the dogs, but dog owners can owners can find solace in the name. Pop in for a quick coffee and a bite to eat on your way home.

If you're looking to go further afield you still have plenty of options to let your dog off the leash including: Leroy Street Dog RunTompkins Square Park, and Union Square.
