Newest Restaurants on 8th Street Add to International Flavor

West 8th Street welcomes two new eateries to the foodie block that are exclusive to the Village.

The first, Léna, specializes in the Basque macaron, chocolate and apricot-walnut Basque brownies and an espresso blend unique to co-owner Pierre Gaona, a French trained barista who sources his beans from Brazil and Papua New Guinea.

Their neighbor, La Panineria, is serving up Italian food as authentic as the Italian owners themselves. Stop in for a panini or ciabatta sandwich and stay for a scrumptious dessert and bold coffee.

Nestled in the back of the new Marlton Hotel is Margaux, featuring chef Michael Reardon's light, fresh Mediterranean fare.
