Hamlet, one of William Shakespeare’s most renowned tragedies, delves into the tormented world of the Prince of Denmark as he grapples with themes of betrayal, revenge, and the complexities of human existence. Hamlet’s introspective soliloquies, memorable characters, and poignant exploration of human nature have solidified its status as a timeless masterpiece.

Shakespeare in the Park has been a beloved New York City tradition since its founding in 1962 by Joseph Papp. Visit Astor Plate and the Public Theater for your chance to win ticket vouchers to this New York City summer institution!

Did you miss out on the day’s tickets? There is a second opportunity for Hamlet tickets if the pair at Astor Plate has been claimed. The Public Theater distributes tickets via a lottery at 425 Lafayette Street each day of the show. Visitors can enter the lottery between 11:00 AM and 12:00 PM (Noon). Like the vouchers at Astor Plate, these vouchers are redeemable for that night’s show. Check out the Public Theater’s website for more information.
