…and dozens of reps from City agencies and institutions, including NYC Homeless Services, NYC Parks Department, the Washington Square Park Conservancy, Community Board 2, the NYPD 6th Precinct, the NYPD Transit District 2, New York University, NYS Assembly Member Deborah Glick’s Office, NYS Senator Brad Hoylman-Sigal, NYS Senator Kavanaugh’s Office, Borough President Mark Levine, and NYC Department of Sanitation.
Plus, we stopped by Andrea Blanco’s Classic Arepas to hear about issues affecting local businesses.
The walkthrough was scheduled to address quality of life concerns in Washington Square Park and the West 4th subway station, which in turn affect local businesses.
The group gathered to walk around the district and hear from residents, institutions, agencies, about the issues faced by Village constituents across various issue sectors. Here are some photos from the tour.
