Light Up The Village Recap
Hey there, merry Villagers! If you missed out on last Friday’s Light Up the Village, here’s the inside scoop on the first-ever Light Up the Village Festival that turned 8th Street into a festive winter party.
🎶 Brass Queens Performance:
The festival headliners were our favorite local band, Brass Queens, an all-female brass band. Their Christmas and jazz classics were the soundtrack of the evening and set the perfect festive tone.
🎄Tree-rific Traditions:
Did you catch the festive fever and bring home your Christmas tree from Tree Riders NYC? The Village streets were adorned with their beautiful evergreens, making it a one-stop-shop for both holiday charm and the centerpiece of your celebrations.

🎨 Live Art on 8th Street
Live painting session turned the street into an open-air gallery. The holiday spirit as NYC local artist, Misha Tyutyunik, crafted a masterpiece, capturing the essence of community unity and creativity.
The art piece was was auctioned off to one of our residents.
🎁 Local Business Love:
The festival wasn’t just a celebration; it was a showcase of our local talent. From unique handcrafted goods to delectable treats, our community’s creativity and entrepreneurial spirit shone brightly.
