As part of a Generative Art, Architecture, and Engineering Collaboration workshop, leading practitioners in the field of generative art, design, and machine learning will present their work and engage in a discussion led by students. This extends a multi-year effort to explore generative algorithms and machine learning at The Cooper Union through a series of interdisciplinary seminars and studios, where students from the art, architecture, and engineering schools work together on group projects. Speakers include Luke Dubois, director, Integrated Design & Media, New York University, Aaron Hertzmann, principal scientist, Adobe Research, Golan Levin, associate professor of electronic art, Carnegie Mellon University, and artists Kyle McDonald, Subalehka Udayasankar, and Addie Wagenknecht.
