“Bell by Bell” is a fun Make Music NY winter tradition designed to transform first time participants and non-musicians into Music Makers, and is the perfect program for kids and families. Reserve your hand bell and your spot in this popular program by filling out the form below:

Attendees are invited to join at Astor Place Plaza at 4:45 pm, situated at the crossroads of the East and West Villages. There, individuals will be provided with color-coded bells that emit distinct notes, followed by a brief introductory session on the fundamentals of hand bell playing. A team of conductors will guide the gathering with matching color-coded flags, encouraging participants to collectively engage in commissioned hand bell compositions. As the group becomes more adept at playing together, the compositions will intensify, creating a unique and collaborative musical experience.
