This April, poetry takes center stage in Greenwich Village as the Village Alliance and the Poetry Society of America come together to celebrate National Poetry Month with a unique installation at Ruth Wittenberg Triangle. Six tabletops in the public plaza at 8th Street and Sixth Avenue now bear the words of poets with deep ties to the neighborhood, inviting passersby to pause, read, and reflect.

Exciting news for cyclists, commuters, and anyone who loves a more connected, safer Village: Sixth Avenue has a major upgrade from Lispenard Street in Tribeca to West 13th Street in the Village. Thanks to a new project from NYC DOT, this stretch now features safer, double-width bike lanes, making the Village a more welcoming place for our visitors and residents on two wheels.
