Summer Streets is a multi-day, annual car-free event held in August. It takes place in Manhattan between the Brooklyn Bridge and east Harlem. People are invited to play, walk, run, and bike along Park Avenue and its connecting streets!
NYC DOT hosts free public art installations, performances, and activities at rest stops along the route. This year, Astor Place will be one of the rest stops that offers a variety of activities! This event aims to promote fitness, recreation, arts, culture, and fun!
