The Venue
NYU is considered one of the best film schools in the country, which explains why it has taught at least 30 Academy Award winners. Among the school’s Alumni are Woody Allen, Whoopi Goldberg, Marisa Tomei, and Philip Seymour Hoffman. Its prime location also makes it an ideal filming location and setting for college life in the City. Felicity the lead character of the late 90s television drama Felicity attended “University of New York” based upon NYU and fast forward a few years Gossip Girl characters, Dan, Vanessa, and Blair, attend NYU after graduating from their prestigious, fictional, preparatory school.
