Positively 8th Street Festival (Day 2)
Celebrate summer and let the sunshine in! Come out "on the road" on the third Saturday in June to celebrate summer and all things Greenwich Village. With art, food, fitness, music, and good vibes all over West 8th Street this festival can only be described as "Positively 8th Street.” Below you’ll find all the details you need to know about the festival’s free + low-cost programming that is open to the public!
Block Printing + Weaving Workshops with Textile Arts Center (26 W. 8th St.) throughout the day

"Plastic Fantastic" Workshop at 1pm with Lomography (41 W. 8th St., in-store) - Learn what's so fantastic about a camera that's plastic with the experts! Admission is $10, $7 for students and includes a roll of film and a loaner camera. Reserve your spot by emailing email@example.com!
New York Sudio School arts workshops + street artists (8 W. 8th St.)
Instant garden “seed bomb” making with the Sewing Seeds program at TAC (MacDougal St. & W. 8th St.) all day long.
8th Street Photography Exhibit @ Lomography (in-store) open during the festival!
Mind + Body
Village Alliance Neighborhood Walking Tours with Reva Cooper at 2pm + 3pm, meet at the Village Alliance Info Booth at 50 W. 8th Street.
Boot Camp with Sam Bowyer Fitness from 12-1pm! Meet at W. 8th St. and 6th Avenue, just bring your work out attire!
Yoga Class from 2:30-3:30pm with Yoga Vida! Bring-your-own-mat to W. 8th St. and 6th Avenue.
Salsa Dance Lessons + Show from 3:45-4:45pm with Salsa New York! Wear your dancing shoes to W 8th St. and 6th Avenue.
Self-guided 8th Street History + Architecture Tours sponsored by the West 8th Street Block Association (pick up maps at 50 W. 8th St.)
