Astor Place is seeking volunteers to participate in puppetry-making workshops run by the legendary Processional Arts Workshop. With over a dozen giant puppets and spinning Alamo cubes to be created for the spectacular finale procession at the Astor Alive! festival we're searching for folks who love to to get crafty! 

We had an incredible time co-hosting Jane Jacobs Trivia Night with Greenwich Village Society for Historic Preservation and the Neighborhood Preservation Center. 

The first of the East Village ‘Mosaic Trail’ lamp poles returned to Astor Place today following extensive restoration by Jim ‘Mosaic Man’ Powers, marking an important moment in the rebirth of the new Astor Place.
