It's been a long time coming this year, but a greener Greenwich Village is finally on its way!
With the harsh winter and cold spring, our hanging baskets and potted plants have been slightly delayed but they are finally hitting the streets this week. Glorious hanging baskets will be on display throughout the district beginning the last week in May through September. Filled with sweet potato ivy and pink geraniums, the streets will feel lush with greenery.
As part of our efforts to improve Sixth Avenue, Ruth Wittenberg Triangle will receive six brand new planters and will now have seasonal plantings aimed at keeping the plaza beautiful all year long. The planters will frame the new information kiosk coming to the plaza later this summer. Come by and take a look!
