From Hendrix to Barbra to Dylan: nearly every great legend cuts a Christmas album. We've compiled a playlist chock full of our favorite holiday tunes by fellow Villagers. Press play and get ready for the holidays!

Barbra Streisand, "Silent Night/Happy Days Are Here Again"

Famed singer, actress, director, producer, writer and humanitarian got her start right here on 8th Street. Ms. Streisand sang for $150 a week at the old Bon Soir. 

Bob Dylan, "It Must Be Santa"

The folk legend moved to Greenwich Village in 1961 and often played popular venues like Cafe Wha? on MacDougal Street. 

Jimi Hendrix, "Little Drummer Boy"

Hendrix's top-notch recording studio Electric Lady Studios is still recording hits at 52 West 8th Street. 

Bette Midler, "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas"

The "Divine Miss M" is a dramatic alumni of HB Studio, located in the West Village on Bank Street. 

Ella Fitzgerald, "Frosty the Snow Man"

The "First Lady of Song" and celebrated jazz singer frequented Cafe Society at 1 Sheridan Square many a times.

    It was really glad to see this Christmas album. I have gone through it and it was mixed with full of favorite holiday tunes that helps us to think more about Christmas celebrations. I am sure that all of us will rock this holiday season with this superb Christmas album.
